Liverpool legend Michael Owen wants his former club to sign West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen.
The Reds will be in the market for a replacement for Mohamed Salah after the 2025/26 season concludes this month.
The Egyptian forward is set to leave Liverpool on a free transfer, opening the door for a new right-winger to join.
Owen was blown away by Bowen when he watched him up close last year and thinks he would succeed at Anfield.

Michael Owen wants Jarrod Bowen to replace Mohamed Salah at Liverpool
Owen was asked on talkSPORT whether Jarrod Bowen would be a quality replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Owen then revealed that the England international would be his top transfer target if West Ham were relegated from the Premier League.
Recent reports have suggested that Bowen would be willing to move clubs if the Hammers go down this season.
Owen also spoke from personal experience, having been amazed by Bowen’s ability at a television shoot last year.
“How did you know? I said that to a couple of my mates the other day,” the Ballon d’Or winner explained on Wednesday. “I said if I had one player…
“Now, obviously, Jarrod Bowen’s a legend of a player. West Ham adore the man and rightly so. But if West Ham went down, he would fit for me. I think he’s absolutely brilliant.
“I was lucky enough to do a striking masterclass with him for a TV show last season, and I couldn’t believe it. Honestly, left foot, right foot, bang bang bang. Corners, pace, and a real top finisher.
“I think he’s a brilliant player. I’d be taking him to the World Cup, and as I say, I don’t want to upset West Ham fans, but if they went down, then he would be my idea of somebody to replace Salah.”
Liverpool could consider signing Bowen even if West Ham stay up, but an approach seems inevitable if the Hammers are relegated.
He deserves to be playing Premier League football in the prime of his career, so the club would probably not stand in his way.
