Mark Warburton has issues an exciting West Ham transfer update after seeing behind the scenes action and responded to Gianluca Scamacca links.
West Ham have made an encouraging start to the summer window with over £50m spent on three quality signings.
The £30m arrival of Nayef Aguerd has sorted the centre-back situation while the permanent capture of Alphonse Areola for around £10m – coupled with Lukasz Fabianski’s new contract – means the goalkeeping department is settled too.

The signing of Flynn Downes means Moyes has replaced retiring Mark Noble with a fellow Hammers supporter and central midfielder who has earned favourable comparisons with him and Declan Rice.
The jury is still very much out on the window, though, with a striker, attacking player, another central midfielder and a left-back said to be next on David Moyes’ wish list for his sizeable West Ham rebuild.
West Ham fans expect owners David Sullivan, Daniel Kretinsky and David Gold to fully back their manager after the amazing progress the club has made over the last two and a half years.

Some West Ham fans are frustrated by the time it has taken for West Ham to identify and sign a much-needed new striker and left-back.
The latest speculation has seen West Ham reportedly enter talks with Sassuolo for Italy striker Scamacca (Football Italia).
There has also been intense talk of bids for Armando Broja and Amadou Onana (Sky Sports).

New Hammers assistant Warburton has only been at the club for a few weeks.
But he has already seen plenty of evidence that Moyes’ transfer plans are coming together.
Now Warburton has issued an exciting West Ham transfer update after seeing behind the scenes action and responds to the Scamacca links.
“I think the manager is undoubtedly looking to add quality and add value to the playing squad,” Warburton told Sky Sports News (July 13th, 8.54am).

“There’s no doubt about that.
“It’s about getting the right players that add that value, add that quality.
“A lot of work is being done. The manager and recruitment team are working tirelessly but it’s about getting the right players for West Ham.”
