West Ham boss David Moyes has been dealt a major double transfer blow after a breaking development in the race for Keane Lewis-Potter.
There has been much speculation over West Ham’s transfer plans involving Hull City attacker Lewis-Potter and Said Benrahma this summer.
Benrahma has divided opinion since signing for West Ham.

The Algerian playmaker has always had suggestions hanging over him that he was never Moyes’s signing in the first place.
But even those who Hammers supporters who perhaps aren’t Benrahma’s biggest fans were taken aback by claims that he could be sold this summer.
Benrahma has 12 goals and 12 assists for West Ham in 44 starts – a goal involvement of better than one every two games.
With Moyes facing a big rebuild this summer and at least six or seven quality additions needed, the last thing fans envisaged was having to replace someone like Benrahma too.

A West Ham insider told Claret and Hugh that Benrahma looks likely to be sold as Moyes reshapes his squad.
The Guardian have also reported that West Ham are open to offers for Benrahma with former club Brentford and the likes of Fulham said to be interested.
A controversial Benrahma sale would make perfect sense for West Ham if they were to get their hands on big Moyes target Lewis-Potter.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for Lewis-Potter (Hull Daily Mail).

West Ham’s interest in Lewis-Potter is very real. So real in fact that Hull’s eccentric owner, Acun Ilicali, held an impromptu press conference to address the West Ham transfer rumour over his star player.
Moyes is a massive fan of the Hull ace, who plays in the same position as Benrahma and shares many similar traits.
But now West Ham boss Moyes has been dealt a major double transfer blow after a breaking development in the race for Lewis-Potter.
According to the likes of Sky Sports, the England Under 21 international has today left Hull’s pre-season training camp to fly to London for a medical with West Ham’s London rivals Brentford.

The Bees have reportedly agreed a £16m deal – which could rise to £20m – with Hull for the player.
The development clearly deals a blow to Moyes who was reportedly seriously keen on signing the playmaker.
But it is a double blow because it also puts paid to any hopes the Scot might have had of offloading Benrahma back to his former club Brentford.
“Keane Lewis-Potter has left Hull’s training camp in Turkey this morning and is flying into London to do a medical with Brentford,” Sky Sports reports.

“The clubs have finalised a deal that will see the Bees pay an initial £16m. It could then rise to a total in the region of £20m with add-ons.
“Personal terms are yet to be agreed but they are not expected to be an issue and the player is keen on the move.
“The forward has been one of Brentford’s top targets since January, when Sky Sports News revealed the club was also trying to sign him. He played the first half of Hull’s 2-0 defeat to Fenerbahce in Istanbul last night.”
