West Ham could now miss out on Sofyan Amrabat, with Manchester United imminently set to make an offer for the £21 million-rated midfielder in the summer transfer window, according to a report from La Nazione.

Hammers boss David Moyes has already signed two central midfielders in the form of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse.
However, with Declan Rice having left and Flynn Downes and Lucas Paqueta both likely to leave, the addition of another top-class midfielder will be needed this summer. Amrabat would be the ideal option for West Ham, but it seems as though Man United could beat us to his signature…

And if they do, it will be curtains for our hopes of signing him. What a huge shame that will be.

The Morocco international is literally the perfect signing for West Ham this summer. The thought of him lined up alongside Alvarez and Ward-Prowse in a midfield three (if Paqueta leaves of course), is a tantalising one.
It’s hugely frustrating that the Hammers didn’t make a move to sign the Moroccan as soon as the summer transfer window opened.
Now it just seems as though Manchester United will be signing Sofyan Amrabat, and for a real bargain fee to boot.
West Ham quite simply have to start moving on targets quicker in the transfer market.
