A manager has admitted his ‘great player’ David Moyes wants to sign is now highly likely to be sold in a big boost for West Ham.
West Ham are gearing up to announce the signing of Italy international striker Gianluca Scamacca.
But after 18 long months somewhat unfathomably relying solely on Michail Antonio up front, Moyes now wants to add another striker too.

West Ham continue to be heavily linked with Chelsea forward Armando Broja.
But former Evening Standard West Ham reporter Jack Rosser, now working for The Sun, claims Moyes is remains seriously interested in signing Blackburn Rovers and Chile striker Ben Brereton Diaz.
West Ham have long been linked with Brereton Diaz, who scored 22 goals and laid on three assists in 34 games last season.

Rosser claimed this week that Moyes wants to add both Scamacca AND Blackburn’s star man in a new-look Hammers frontline.
Now their manager admits his ‘great player’ who Moyes wants to sign is highly likely to be sold in a big boost for West Ham.
Speaking to The Lancashire Telegraph, Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson conceded that Brereton Diaz could be sold during this window as he enters the final year of his contract.

The Lancashire Telegraph reports that Tomasson quipped he would make the 23-year-old striker coffee and breakfast every morning should he sign a new deal with Blackburn.
The manager also confirmed Rosser’s claims in The Sun that Moyes sent scouts to watch Brereton Diaz in the 1-0 friendly win over Lincoln City.
“Ben is a great player and clubs want great players,” Tomasson told The Lancashire Telegraph.

“At the moment he’s a Blackburn Rovers player and he’ll do well for Rovers…
“Of course I would love him to stay but I understand how football works. Great players come and go.”
Brereton Diaz divides opinion among Hammers fans.

Many feel he does not have the pace and power to be a success in the Premier League.
But others point to his age – 23 – and his deadly finishing prowess as reason enough to take what is a low-risk chance at the reported £15m fee.
