The West Brom play-maker Pereira has been on the Hammers’ radar for quite some time now (The Express). Liverpool may well cause us somewhat of a problem now, however.

The Baggies are allegedly looking for around £25 million for the 25-year-old (The Express).

The South American ace would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers.

David Moyes may well face stiff competition from Jurgen Klopp for Pereira, however.

Liverpool join West Ham in Pereira race

Reds boss Klopp could be ready to beat Moyes to the punch by bringing the Brazilian magician to Anfield this summer.

ExWHUemployee highlighted potential interest from Liverpool in Pereira when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast:

“With Pereira, we wanted to get him on loan initially. The problem is that a lot of other clubs are interested. There are clubs from Saudi Arabia and Leicester are interested. Now there is even talk of interest from Liverpool.”

Losing out on Pereira to Liverpool would be a huge blow to stomach for Moyes and the West Ham fans.

Signing the West Brom star will be crucial to our hopes of finishing inside the top six again this season.
