After arriving at the London Stadium in the summer of 2018 for around £25 million (The Express), Diop was one of the very best central defenders in the Premier League during his debut season.
The 25-year-old, who earns around £63k-a-week according to Football League FC, experienced a poor 2020/21 campaign though and was nowhere near his best this season either.

The 25-year-old really hasn’t been great for West Ham at all over the past two years.
If Moyes brings in Aguerd and sells Diop, it would be very good business indeed for the Hammers.
West Ham are allegedly prepared to let the centre-back leave the London Stadium for around £13 million according to Foot Mercato.
And perhaps Lazio would be a lot better fit for Issa Diop than West Ham given the more pedestrian paced nature of Serie A.
