Reporter claims Wolves have made an enquiry for another West Ham United player in the January transfer window.

The Hammers have already sold one player to Wolves this month. Craig Dawson left the London Stadium for Molineux at the end of last week for around £3.3 million (Daily Mail).

And now it seems as though another Hammer could be heading up the M1 from East London to the Black Country.

David Moyes needs to strengthen his squad before the January transfer window closes, not weaken it. There is one player in particular who could definitely leave West Ham though…

Wolves make enquiry for West Ham player

According to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs, Wolves have made an enquiry to the Hammers about signing Michail Antonio before the end of the month.

Jacobs famously first broke the news that Lucas Paqueta was a transfer target for West Ham in the summer.

Antonio, 32, has regressed badly over the past 12 months or so.

I would be more than happy if we managed to sell him this month, as long as David Moyes brings a replacement in of course.

The ex-Nottingham Forest man has been incredibly open about his chances of leaving the London Stadium this month.

He’s clearly not happy with being a bit-part player anymore, and has been sulking since he lost his place as a regular starter to Gianluca Scamacca.

It just seems like the right time for Antonio and the Hammers to go their separate ways.

And with Wolves having made an enquiry for the West Ham attacker, it might well not be too long before Antonio leaves the club.
