Jesse Lingard is allegedly disappointed Manchester United have refused to enter negotiations with West Ham this month because we are seen as top four rivals.
That’s according to a report from ESPN who claim that the 29-year-old is very unhappy with the treatment he has received from Manchester United.
Lingard is out of contract with Man United at Old Trafford in the summer.

West Ham boss David Moyes wants to bring Jesse back to the London Stadium in the January transfer window according to the likes of The Sun and ESPN.

In fact, ESPN reckon that the attacking midfielder is hoping to move to the Hammers on a permanent deal this month.
As things stand though, the Red Devils are kicking their heels in and refusing to allow Jesse to leave on the cheap this month.
The Daily Mail suggest that Man United are demanding £15 million for Jesse in the January window. That is massive money to be paying for someone who will be available on a free transfer in just five month’s time.
Jesse Lingard angry with Manchester United amidst West Ham links
ESPN are now claiming that Lingard is unhappy at how difficult Man United are making it for him to leave Old Trafford this month.
He has allegedly been refused permission to speak to West Ham about a potential January transfer to the London Stadium.
Perhaps this is one that will just have to wait until the summer.

By then, he will be nearing 30 and we will have to face competition from clubs offering him huge wages.
Lingard was great for West Ham. He scored nine goals and bagged four assists during a four-month loan spell at the London Stadium last season.
He decided to return to Manchester United in the summer though and that decision now looks to be completely ill-advised.
Lingard’s made his bed now though, and he has to lie in it.
As good as it would be to have the 29-year-old back, we can’t afford to wait until the last minute on deadline day trying to sign him and potentially miss out on alternative options in the process.
There are plenty of other players out there who would be superb additions, and more cost effective ones at that. You need look no further than Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho.
Let’s hope that David Moyes’s Lingard obsession doesn’t get the better of him once again this window.
