Insider rubbishes report of a mega West Ham deal for Memphis Depay and lifts the lid on the thoughts of David Moyes about the Barca outcast.
Holland star Depay was a flop in the Premier League with Manchester United and is now an outcast at Barcelona in the wake of their hugely controversial rebuild.
Moyes is in the middle of a much more prudent and considered squad reshaping at West Ham.

And one player regularly linked with the Hammers – who hasn’t been? – this summer is Depay.
A report from SPORT in mid-May claimed Hammers manager Moyes wants to bring the 80-capped Holland international to the London Stadium this summer.
Depay’s stats suggest he could still have plenty to offer a team like West Ham as he has a brilliant international record of 42 goals in his 80 appearances.

The 28-year-old is surplus to requirements and has no future at the Camp Nou.
According to a translated claim from Spanish journalist Gerard Romero around a month ago a “low ranked Premier League side” has made a bid of €23m (£19m) for Depay (Yahoo Sport and Football Transfers).
At the time Hammers News suggested West Ham could well be the mystery club given the previous links.
This morning Football Insider ran an exclusive claiming West Ham have made a big offer to sign Depay.

“West Ham have submitted an offer for Barcelona star Memphis Depay, sources have told Football Insider,” the report states.
“It emerged on Thursday (11 August) that an unnamed London club have offered the Holland international, 28, a mega-money deal to try to lure him to the Premier League.
“Football Insider can reveal that club is West Ham, who have turned their attention to Depay as they look to recruit a top-class forward.”
But Hammers fans should not get their hopes up according to a top source inside the club.

Insider rubbishes report of mega West Ham deal for Memphis Depay and lifts lid on David Moyes thoughts about the Barca outcast
Because the insider has rubbished the report of a mega West Ham deal for Depay and lifts the lid on Moyes’ thoughts about the Barca outcast.
The insider, speaking to Claret and Hugh, says the reports about a West Ham move for Depay are ‘extremely wide of the mark’.
“In reality there has been no bid and the manager is unsure whether he wants the player despite his impressive background,” the Hammers insider told Claret and Hugh.
Further commenting on the Depay the insider told C&H that any interest from West Ham in Depay is “no more than a five per cent bet at the moment anyway”.

“The manager has not made his mind up about the player,” the report adds.
Even if West Ham were seriously interested in Depay, it was only last week that transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano stated the player himself will only consider leaving Barca for a “top club” with Juventus interested.
“Depay is negotiating free agency with FCB as revealed last week, Memphis will only accept in case of top clubs bid – Juventus among those interested,” Romano said on Twitter.
