Paris Saint-Germain are allegedly interested in signing West Ham United defender Issa Diop in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to club insiders Claret and Hugh who claim that the powers that be at the Parc des Princes are big fans of the 25-year-old Hammers centre-half.
The 6ft 4in defender who was signed for £25 million from Toulouse back in the summer of 2018 (The Express) has regressed badly over the past couple of years at the London Stadium.

Diop looked like he had absolutely everything needed to succeed at the very highest level when he swapped Toulouse for West Ham just under four years ago.
Diop seems to be a shadow of his former self, however, and his performances this season have been absolutely shambolic.
The 25-year-old just doesn’t seem to be a David Moyes type player. He’s just so frustrating because we all know that he has the raw ability needed. His performance away at Leicester City on Sunday proved to everyone that he does have what it takes.
It’s just his lack of consistency though, his poor positional awareness and horrific decision making that means he will undoubtedly have plenty of mistakes up his sleeve if he plays regularly for West Ham. And it seems as though a summer exit could be on the cards for Diop…

Claret and Hugh reckon that the 25-year-old Hammers defender is firmly on the radar of the French giants ahead of the summer window.
Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a big fan of Diop and is looking to bolster his central defensive ranks at the Parc des Princes.
One face value, some might question why would PSG want to sign the 25-year-old defender when it is clear to see that he isn’t good enough to be playing for West Ham.
Who knows? Perhaps Diop will be far better suited to playing in Ligue 1 and he might end up being a superb player for PSG.
As has been proven so many times before though, success in foreign leagues never automatically translates into being a hit in the Premier League.
The English game is so fast, frenetic and physical. Not everyone can deal with the challenges that is presents. Diop is one of those players. And in our opinion, the sooner that he is shipped out of the London Stadium the better, as far as West Ham’s hopes of making genuine progress are concerned.
