There has been an incredible Armando Broja boost for West Ham boss David Moyes as Chelsea close on a big name striker signing and eye another.
West Ham have been intensely linked with a move for Chelsea academy graduate Broja.
The Hammers were first linked with a move for the striker earlier this season after he seriously caught the eye on loan at Southampton (Football Insider).

Sky Sports has reported that Broja is on Moyes’s list of striker targets for the summer window with a forward being a top priority for West Ham.
And Sky Sports transfer reporter Dharmesh Sheth claimed recently that Chelsea have set West Ham a fee of more than £25m for Broja, claiming an official bid from the Hammers is imminent.
West Ham are facing an anxious wait to see if Chelsea will do business with them over Broja.

Romelu Lukaku’s departure means West Ham must hope Chelsea can sign one or two new strikers before they consider selling Broja to them.
Moyes seems to be putting all his eggs in one basket over the Albanian.
And it is a dangerous game to play, particularly after news broke yesterday that Newcastle are interested and – unlike West Ham – are willing to make it a loan deal with Chelsea.

West Ham have been hit by a series of blows in their hopes of landing Broja on a permanent deal.
Because Chelsea missed out on Richarlison to Spurs and look likely to also miss out on his fellow Brazilian Raphinha to Barcelona.
There seems to be some welcome good news for the Hammers coming out out of Stamford Bridge today, though.
And it is an incredible Broja boost for West Ham boss Moyes as Chelsea close on a big name striker signing and eye ANOTHER.

According to Sky Sports Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Man City forward Raheem Sterling.
The report claims Chelsea are in ‘advanced and constructive talks’ with Man City and are ‘optimistic’ of getting a deal done.
That in itself is excellent news for Moyes’ hopes of potentially getting Broja to the London Stadium.

But there has been a further major boost for West Ham after reports claimed Chelsea could also sign wantaway Man United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
In an exclusive for The Athletic, David Ornstein claims Chelsea are seriously considering a move for Ronaldo, who has made it clear he wants to leave Old Trafford.
Thomas Tuchel is under pressure to close the gap on the likes of Man City and Liverpool.
So he was never going to throw Broja in at the deep end off the back of just six Premier League goals on loan at Southampton.

If Chelsea get Sterling and Ronaldo to add to the likes of Timo Werner then Broja’s pathway is well and truly blocked.
And Sky Sports are even claiming Tuchel has an extensive striker shortlist with a view to adding MORE firepower.
Lancs Live is reporting that the Blues are frontrunners to sign Maxwell Cornet from relegated Burnley.
West Ham have to hope Chelsea get some deals done soon and then make new owner Todd Boehly and offer he can’t refuse for the Slough-born striker.
