The West Ham United and Ibrahim Osman January transfer window saga continues to rumble on it seems.

West Ham United have been chasing Ibrahim Osman for a couple of weeks now, and it has been claimed that we’re closing in on a deal for the young Ghanaian.

Hammers boss David Moyes is clearly intent on bolstering his attacking ranks in the January transfer window, with the likes of Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals being linked with exits from the London Stadium.

Osman would be a really exciting addition to Moyes’s ranks, and according to a report The Irish Sun, West Ham have now submitted a new bid for 19-year-old Nordsjaelland winger.

The Ghanaian is currently at the same club where his countryman Mohammed Kudus joined Ajax from in 2020, and if Osman is anything like the 23-year-old, Moyes needs to bring him to the London Stadium as a matter of urgency!

West Ham make fresh Ibrahim Osman bid

The Hammers recently had a bid rejected by Nordsjaelland for the teenage forward, but it seems like Moyes is not prepared to take no for an answer.

I like the Scot’s style. Osman is a supremely talented young player and whilst he’s not the finished article just yet, I have no doubt in my mind that he’ll go on to reach the very top.

The Ghanaian has bagged four goals and five assists in 29 games for Nordsjaelland so far this season (Transfermarkt) – a decent return for a teenager.

He possesses absolutely explosive pace, and plays with a real kind of directness that would offer us some real unpredictability to our attacking setup.

Osman can play on either wing or even through the middle as an auxiliary striker, so his versatility will undoubtedly appeal to Moyes.

I truly believe that he’d be a huge upgrade on Benrahma and Fornals, in spite of his total lack of experience in playing at the very highest level.

If West Ham manage to sign teenage sensation Ibrahim Osman in the January transfer window, I’ll be over the moon.
