West Ham handed Declan Rice boost as Chelsea make official contact for Jude Bellingham
SportBild reckon that Chelsea are one of four clubs who can sign the exceptionally talented England international in the summer of 2023.
And Blues owner Todd Boehly has already made contact with Dortmund about a potential £130 million deal for Bellingham.
If Chelsea do sign the Birmingham-born ace, they certainly won’t be signing Rice as well, and that’s terrific news for West Ham.
Chelsea’s ‘grand plan’ has been to sign Declan Rice from West Ham for quite some time now.
It seems as though they are now looking elsewhere though.
Bellingham has been described as an ‘unbelievable’ player by the Liverpool Echo.
The 17-capped England international is one of the most exciting young talents on the planet, so it’s little wonder why Graham Potter wants to sign him.

Bellingham is a truly brilliant young player, but so is Declan Rice.
Keeping the 23-year-old at the London Stadium over the next few years will be one of the main priorities for David Moyes.
In order to do that, we will obviously have to match his ambitions both on and off the pitch.
Whether West Ham are able to do that remains to be seen.
One thing’s for sure though, West Ham have been handed a huge Declan Rice boost with the news that Chelsea have made official contact for the signing of Jude Bellingham.
