West Ham have been handed a huge boost with the news that David Moyes target Axel Disasi can now be signed for just £23 million.
That’s according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb who claim that the 24-year-old French World Cup star could be set to leave Monaco for a very reasonable fee in the January transfer window.

Central defence is certainly an area at the London Stadium where Moyes needs to bolster before the transfer window slams shut.
Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson are both getting on, whilst the latter could leave the Hammers this month.
Meanwhile, Kurt Zouma’s knee problems are a huge concern, despite the fact that he recently underwent surgery to fix the issue.
And it seems as though Moyes has a great chance to sign a top quality centre-back with youth on his side for a real bargain fee this month…
Huge boost for West Ham as Axel Disasi price-tag emerges
The Monaco centre-back could be available for as little as £23 million this month, according to TuttoMercatoWeb. What an unbelievable bargain fee that would be.
He is a truly brilliant central defender and seemingly has all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League.
He was part of Didier Deschamps’ France World Cup squad, and impressed for Les Bleus out in Qatar.
Disasi is an absolute powerhouse of a centre-back, and he can play as a right-back as well.

The Frenchman possesses pace in abundance, has composure in possession and is incredibly strong both in the air and on the ground in the tackle.
n 15 Ligue 1 games for Monaco so far this season, Disasi has racked up one goal and three assists. During those outings he has averaged 1.3 tackles, 2.2 interceptions, three clearances and 2.3 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).
The France international is a very solid passer of the football as well. In 15 Ligue 1 games for Monaco this term, he has made 48.3 passes on average per match and has recorded an average completion rate of 82.5% (Who Scored).
Disasi has been described as an ‘elite’ talent by The Monaco Tribune. He really is a hugely exciting young talent.
West Ham saying £23 million for Axel Disasi in the January window seems like an absolute no-brainer to me. And David Moyes should be going all out to make it happen.
