Arsenal have reportedly just made an enquiry to sign West Ham United transfer target Weston McKennie from Juventus.
That’s according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport who claim that Juventus could be willing to sell the 24-year-old to Arsenal for around €25 million (£22 million).

Central midfield is an area at West Ham that is in need of real strengthening. Declan Rice could heading out of the club whilst Tomas Soucek just isn’t good enough in my opinion.
McKennie would be the ideal addition for the Hammers in my opinion, but we may well have no chance of signing him now with Arsenal on his case…

Gazzetta dello Sport reckon that Gunners boss Mikel Arteta wants the United States international at the Emirates, and has made an enquiry for him.
Juve could sell McKennie for as little as £22 million now, after their recent point deduction and the subsequent likelihood that they will miss out on the Champions League.
Arsenal signing McKennie instead of us would be further evidence of the gulf between the two London clubs.
Football Insider recently described the 24-year-old is an ‘unbelievable’ player.
The American is an incredibly industrious, hard-working and energetic central midfielder.
He was absolutely brilliant for the United States during the World Cup out in Qatar, and clearly has all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League.
Weston McKennie seems to be tailor made for Premier League football but unfortunately for West Ham, it seems more likely that he’ll be signing for Arsenal rather than us at the moment.
And if that happens, it will be hugely frustrating for the Hammers.
