West Ham United transfer target Dan-Axel Zagadou is destined for a move to the Premier League this summer.
That’s according to a report from Calcio Mercato Web who claim that Zagadou and his agents have decided that he will be moving to England this summer rather than join either Roma or Inter Milan.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the 23-year-old free agent to the London Stadium this summer according to a report from The Sun.
We believe that Zagadou would be a fabulous addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.

Signing another top-class central defender before the transfer window slams shut will be crucial for Moyes with Nayef Aguerd out injured and Issa Diop allegedly on his way to Fulham.
And it seems as though the Hammers have every chance of doing just that for an absolutely nothing as far as transfer fees are concerned…
West Ham target Dan-Axel Zagadou has heart set on Premier League
The 23-year-old defender is wanted by Inter Milan and Roma according to a report from Calcio Mercato Web.
Zagadou has decided that the Premier League is where he wants to be playing football, however, according to the Italian media outlet.
That’s obviously a boost for West Ham but the bad news is that Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag wants to sign him as well (Media Foot Marseille).
Hopefully the Hammers manage to win the race for his services – he’s such a good centre-back.
He only made 15 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Dortmund last season but don’t let that fool you, he really is an exceptional defender.

BVB’s official website describe the centre-back as an ‘incredible’ player.
Standing at 6ft 6in tall, Zagadou is strong in the air but he is also quick along the ground.
The Dortmund ace is very good with the ball at his feet as well. In 15 league appearances last season he made an average of 60.2 passes per game and registered an incredibly impressive 88.2% completion rate (Who Scored).
He’s left footed as well – a crucial attribute for any defender David Moyes brings in this summer because it means that he can play at left-back if need be as well.
Zagadou signing a must in spite of injury record
There is one huge red flag for West Ham to take note of though…the 22-year-old’s horrendous record with injuries.
Since 2018, Zagadou has missed 563 days of action through injury (Transfermarkt). Most of his problems have been with his knee and he recently underwent surgery to fix that particular issue.
His availability on a free transfer means that he will be a low-risk signing for the Hammers though, in spite of his recent injury problems.
Let’s hope that West Ham manage to get a deal done for Dan-Axel Zagadou this summer.
