Liverpool are looking to replace Mohamed Salah with a blockbuster £86 million transfer, and news regarding who they’re targeting could be really big for West Ham United.
Mohamed Salah is being linked with an exit from Liverpool at the end of the season, and West Ham star Jarrod Bowen has been someone who’s been mooted as his potential replacement for the Egyptian.
Salah, 31, faces an uncertain future at Liverpool (The Daily Mail). Because of this, the Reds hierarchy are clearly sounding out potential replacements for the former Chelsea and Basel man.
That’s a big worry for the Hammers fans and David Moyes of course, with Bowen firmly in the Merseyside outfit’s sights.

The 27-year-old winger has been in stunning form for West Ham so far this season, with 18 goals and seven assists in 37 games to his name (Transfermarkt).
He has come on leaps and bounds this season and has reached a whole new level entirely. The West Ham star has been rewarded for his form this term with call-ups to the last two England squads.
The thought of losing Jarrod is a really concerning one. However, it seems like there is good news on the horizon for the Hammers fans…
Liverpool have Mohamed Salah replacement lined up
With Jurgen Klopp set to leave Anfield this summer, big change is ahead for Liverpool. So if Salah leaves as well, they will have to make a really big-name signing to appease the fans.
And it seems as though that’s exactly what they’re planning to do…much to the relief of the West Ham fans.

According to a report from Fichajes, Liverpool are lining up a €100 million (£86 million) move to sign Real Madrid superstar Rodrygo this summer.
With Salah allegedly facing an uncertain future at Anfield, links with the Brazilian will get the Liverpool fans very excited…and the Hammers fans as well.
Rodrygo, 23, has been described as a ‘world-class’ player by Marca, and they’re not wrong. Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti recently labelled the capped Brazil international as ‘special’ (Daily Mail).
Since joining Madrid from Santos in the summer of 2019, the right winger has bagged 50 goals and 40 assists in 206 games for Los Blancos (Transfermarkt).
Rodrygo is clearly an elite talent, and if Liverpool are really in for him to replace Mohamed Salah, that’s great news for our hopes of keeping Jarrod Bowen at West Ham.
However, one thing that does worry me is that the Reds surely want to bring a left-footed right winger in to replace Salah for the long-term.
The Real Madrid star is right-footed, unlike Bowen of course. So only time will tell as to whether these claims from Spain are true or not.
