West Ham are reportedly in hot pursuit of Fulham attacker Adama Traore in the January transfer window.
Traore and Nuno Espirito Santo shared a good working relationship during the time they spent at Wolves and a reunion is on the cards this month.
West Ham want a new attacker and despite closing in on Gil Vicente striker Pablo, the Spanish winger is also expected to move to the London Stadium.
Pablo looks set to be West Ham’s first signing of January…💪
What are YOUR thoughts on this deal?
Fulham decide when they will allow Adama Traore to leave
According to the Sun, the Cottagers are not ready to part ways with the 29-year-old imminently despite the transfer window officially opening.
Due to them losing players to the AFCON, they want to wait for a few weeks before finally getting him off their books.
It has been claimed that they are expecting a £7million fee in order to allow him to leave for the Hammers.
Despite holding face-to-face talks last week over the deal, Fulham will let West Ham sign him only after 18 January.
That is the date they expect their players to be back from international duty and believe they will have the required squad depth.

West Ham expected to sign more players post Traore
Traore’s arrival is expected to follow Pablo’s, but that is unlikely to be the end of the club’s transfer activity.
Relegation would be dire for West Ham, and the owners are aware of the risks of not investing this month.
This is shocking! 😰 Relegation is going to be dire for West Ham…
What would YOU do to avoid this mess?
Spending large sums in January is minor compared to the financial turmoil that relegation could cause.
Apart from that, a number of key players would leave the club, and it would be a painful and potentially slow rebuild if they fail to bounce back up next season.
A centre-back is very likely to arrive in the next few weeks, with Toulouse defender Charlie Cresswell being a top transfer target.
No bid has been made yet for the former Leeds United defender, but things could progress if Nuno prioritises him over the other options.
Kobbie Mainoo is also liked by West Ham, but a new midfielder is not understood to be high up the priority list for the Portuguese.
