A French journalist claims striker Terem Moffi has chosen his new club amid conflicting West Ham bid reports.
It wouldn’t be the January window without a West Ham United transfer saga.
And it seems the latest involves in-form Lorient star Moffi.
West Ham have scored just 15 goals in 19 league games this season, the second worst record in the top flight.
If goals are not added to this West Ham team then they will find themselves relegated come May.

There has been claim and counter claim about the reported interest in Moffi from West Ham. Other clubs, including Lorient’s Ligue 1 rivals Nice, are also said to be interested in the Nigerian striker.
L’Equipe are reporting that the supposed bid for Moffi submitted by the Hammers is not real.
There have also been claims that Lorient would rather sell to West Ham than Nice.
Now a French journalist claims Moffi has chosen his new club amid the conflicting West Ham bid reports.
Responding to a talkSPORT report that Lorient are set to reject West Ham’s bid for Moffi, Santi Aouna delivered a crushing blow to the Hammers.

Because the Foot Mercato reporter, who has been across the Moffi situation from the start, says the player himself does not want to sign for West Ham and prefers a move to Nice.
“Player doesn’t want West Ham,” Aouna said on Twitter.
“He wants Nice.”
So there you have it West Ham fans, a short and not very sweet message which appears to put an end to yet another move for a striker.
The Moffi rejection comes a week after Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri snubbed West Ham to stay with the struggling La Liga club.
It seems every which way West Ham turn at the moment they hit a brickwall – on and off the pitch.
