Zouma is the number one transfer target for Hammers boss David Moyes.
It seemed as though West Ham were imminently set to sign the Frenchman.
Hammers fans were very concerned when the news broke last night that the deal was in danger of collapse, however (The Telegraph’s Jason Burt).
It was suggested that talks with the 26-year-old’s agent were proving to be problematic.

It seems as though the deal is still very much on though.
ExWHUemployee breaks Kurt Zouma silence
The reliable West Ham insider has claimed that there are still some issues with Zouma’s agent that needs ironing out. The club are comfortable that these issues will be resolved, however.

What a great signing Zouma will be for West Ham.

The powerful Frenchman will improve our defending beyond belief.
£25 million for the Chelsea ace seems like very good value considering his age and quality.
Zouma is an absolute warrior, has power and pace in abundance and has real athleticism.
In 24 Premier League outings for Chelsea last season, Zouma averaged 0.7 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 3.8 clearances per game. He also won an average of 3.6 aerial duels per match (Who Scored).
