Exciting Lille striker Jonathan David, who is reportedly wanted by Arsenal and David Moyes, has liked a West Ham post on social media.
West Ham and Arsenal are both reportedly in the market for a striker in the January window.
The Hammers have been heavily linked with Canadian ace David. And the player reportedly likes the idea of joining West Ham from Lille in the January transfer window according to a report from Calcio Mercato.

But Arsenal have also been linked, with Mikel Arteta said to be keen on the forward too (The Daily Mail and The Mirror).
It is easy to see why Moyes and Arteta are interested in David. The 21-year-old has already scored 18 goals in 24 games for his country and has bagged 15 goals in 26 matches for Lille so far this season (Transfermarkt).

But some West Ham fans think they might have the edge after the striker himself liked a post from West Ham’s media team on social media.
After a recent slump, West Ham pulled themselves back up to fifth in the table with a 4-1 win at Watford on Tuesday.
The Hammers now sit four points behind the resurgent Gunners at the halfway stage of the season.

Exciting striker Jonathan David, who is wanted by Arsenal and David Moyes, has just liked West Ham post
Following West Ham’s victory at Vicarage Road, the club posted a video of goalscorer Said Benrahma celebrating with his mother who was sat in the away end with the Hammers fans.
And West Ham fans were quick to spot that reported target David had liked the post alongside a host of the club’s stars.
It is the way of the modern world that many fans have taken David’s social media activity as a hint he could be on his way to West Ham.
The fact David has liked West Ham’s post could be significant. There were similar instances with Jesse Lingard and others before they ended up signing for West Ham. It does seem to be a way for players to test the water nowadays.

Arsenal fans would probably beg to differ. And if the north Londoners continue to build their way back into the top four mix then they are undoubtedly a hugely attractive proposition for players.
But at West Ham any new striker signing will be guaranteed plenty of game time.
Michail Antonio is the only senior forward on Moyes’s books. And even he was converted from a winger less than two years ago.
With the January window opening this weekend, West Ham and Arsenal fans may not have long to wait to find out if their club is serious about a move for David, who is said to be available at around £25-30m (The Liverpool Echo).
