Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag’s comments on Aaron Wan-Bissaka have surely left the door open for West Ham to sign the right-back.
Wan-Bissaka remained with Man United in the end though, after Ten Hag failed to sign a replacement.
Right-back is an area where Moyes needs to improve massively.
Vladimir Coufal is well past his best whilst the jury is very much still out on Ben Johnson. In addition to that, Harrison Ashby faces an uncertain future at the London Stadium.

And the door could now be open for West Ham to significantly improve the right-back department…
West Ham could sign Manchester United star Wan-Bissaka after Erik ten Hag comments
The Man United boss has spoken about the need for two good players in every position, and he hinted that just doesn’t have that in the right-back department at the moment (Yahoo):
He [Dalot] has the breath to go up and down [the flank] so the development is really good, but I have to mention, I think a club like Man Utd need two good full-backs because we have a lot of games to cover.
That’s about as clear as you can get from the Man United boss. And West Ham must not hesitate, Wan-Bissaka would be a sensational addition for us in the January transfer window.
The ex-Crystal Palace man is already behind Diogo Dalot in the right-back pecking order at Old Trafford.
And if Ten Hag makes another big money right-back signing, Wan-Bissaka’s days at Old Trafford could well be numbered.

Wan-Bissaka joined Manchester United three years ago from Crystal Palace for around £50 million (Independent).
The 24-year-old possesses blistering pace. And that recovery speed would enable us to push further up the pitch, which ties in perfectly with Moyes saying that he wants his team to become more of a possession-based side.
If you are to do that, you need real recovery pace at the back and AWB possesses that in abundance.
The Manchester United right-back is an exceptional defender and is one of the very best tacklers around.
Manchester United could allegedly demanding around £25 million for Wan-Bissaka (Si).
We really think that David Moyes should make an attempt to bring Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham in the January transfer window.
Ten Hag surely won’t stand in his way, if he manages to bring another right-back to Old Trafford.
West Ham signing Manchester United star Wan-Bissaka in January now seems like a real possibly after the latest comments from Ten Hag.
