Declan Rice completely misses the point about our current poor form, and it’s hugely concerning for West Ham United.
The Hammers are in really poor form, having taken just 14 points from our opening 16 games, and we’re currently sitting just outside the relegation zone.
David Moyes has allowed complacency to set in at the London Stadium, and his approach to winning games has become stale.
West Ham are way too predictable, and our football is slow, boring to watch and completely devoid of any pace.

The concerning thing is, this is nothing new. It’s been going on for quite some time now – almost 12 months in fact.
The rot really set in at the London Stadium in January in the Premier League, with our poor domestic form being masked by the incredible Europa League run.
And that is something that our club captain has completely overlooked…
Declan Rice completely misses the point, and it’s hugely concerning for West Ham
The 23-year-old has been speaking to WHUFC.com, after our defeat to Arsenal on Monday night.
Unfortunately for us, Rice seems to be under the same delusions as Moyes…
We know where we are in the league and that’s nearer to the bottom end at the minute, but I am sure the tables will turn, and we’ll push ourselves back up the table. It’s a bump in the road that we need to get over, and we’ve got to remain positive and we believe we can beat Brentford. Every team has a period where results don’t go your way, and it’s down to me as captain to keep everyone going and keep pushing everyone. I’ll personally always give 100 per cent out on the pitch to make things happen and get results, and so will the other lads as well. There is no way we’re down and out. There are so many games to go and we’re still positive and believe we have got a good team, and we have top players, but we need to stop talking about it and start showing it. With the players we’ve got and signings we’ve made, it’s down to us to show our quality at both ends of the pitch.

Is he serious? A bump in the road?
Just for context, since January 16th, West Ham have played 33 Premier League games and have recorded 33 points – that’s one point per game and is nailed on relegation form.
This isn’t a bump in the road. It’s a serious deep rot and something drastic has to change now.
The fact that Rice hasn’t grasped the gravity of the situation is hugely concerning in my opinion.
