West Ham United boss David Moyes is eyeing two key signings in the summer but could beat Newcastle to a third.

Moyes has banked £20m from the sale of Sebastien Haller to Ajax.
West Ham fans will be hoping that is supplemented by co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold.
And West Ham will also be looking to add to it by selling the likes of Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini.

Moyes has two key signings lined up and will battle Newcastle for a third
According to West Ham insiders Claret & Hugh – who have direct links to Sullivan and Gold – getting Jesse Lingard and Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima signed is top of the agenda.
Once they are sorted, Claret & Hugh claims Moyes will turn his attentions to adding a second striker in the shape of Blackburn’s Adam Armstrong.
Claret & Hugh recently reported Armstrong was Moyes’s prime target this summer.
But that now appears to be Sima.
But the report claims the Hammers very much still want Armstrong as their second striker signing, although their chances of success will depend on whether Newcastle stay up.

Sima and Lingard top of West Ham’s agenda but Moyes also wants Armstrong
Claret & Hugh claim that West Ham’s hopes of landing 20-goal Armstrong very much rest on Newcastle avoiding relegation.
The striker is Newcastle born and bred and a lifelong fan. He made 17 appearances for them after coming through the academy. But he was sold to Blackburn for £1.75m after failing to establish himself.
“The Irons remain keen on Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima and with Jesse Lingard another priority it’s more than likely that David Moyes will be concentrating all his energies in those directions,” Claret & Hugh report.
“Adam Armstrong too is strongly fancied by ourselves and Newcastle but much will depend on whether the Geordies remain a Premier League team next season.”

Newcastle relegation would clear path for West Ham to sign Geordie Armstrong
That in itself is no easy task. Fulham trail the Magpies by just two points in the bid to avoid filling the last relegation spot.
Indeed Newcastle go to Fulham on the last day of the season. And that is looking increasingly like a potential relegation play-off.
West Ham have loftier ambitions, though, as they sit just one win off leapfrogging Chelsea into the top four.
Moyes needs reinforcements regardless. But with European football a distinct possibility for West Ham next term, that requirement becomes even more acute.
To that end – and with the reality of finances being stretched due to the pandemic – Moyes could also supplement West Ham’s squad with some shrewd free transfers. That’s according to reliable insider ExWHUemployee. Read the full story below.
