It’s official West Ham man is the top player in world football – for one day at least

Leading football data analysts WhoScored published the top rated players from Wednesday’s opening World Cup qualifiers.

And West Ham man Soucek was at the top of the list with a perfect 10 score.

Soucek beat the likes of Man City star Kevin de Bruyne to top spot.

And the Czech Hammer had no equal with his perfect score.

It is very rare for players to achieve perfect 10 scores.

So it is highly unlikely Soucek’s rating will be matched during the rest of the international break.

West Ham fans and David Moyes will now just be hoping he returns to east London injury and Covid free next week.

Soucek celebrated being named the Czech player of the year in style.

Next stop Hammer of the Year and then who knows a Ballon D’Or nomination after that?

Dimitri Payet was nominated in 2015/16 while at West Ham so why not Super Tom.
