West Ham United boss David Moyes is weighing up four free transfer signings for the summer.

Report’s new claim will have massive bearing on West Ham’s chances of signing Prem striker

That’s according to reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee.

Money has been tight at West Ham during the pandemic with co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold enforcing a sell-to-buy policy.

West Ham have sell to buy policy and money is needed for Lingard and Haller replacement

Moyes has £20m banked from the sale of Sebastien Haller in January.

And the Scot’s priorities are to sign at least one striker as well loan star Jesse Lingard on a permanent deal.

In reality West Ham need two strikers and players in other key positions such as central midfield.

Well it seems Moyes could pad those positions out with free transfers this summer.

That’s according to ExWHUemployee latest update on his patreon site.

Insider ExWHUemployee claims Moyes is eyeing four free transfers

Ex claims West Ham are monitoring long-linked target Porto striker Moussa Marega, Sheffield United’s John Lundstram, Napoli defender Nikola Maksimovic and Besiktas striker Vincent Aboubakar.

As things stand all three players are available on a free transfer in the summer.

“In terms of transfers obviously we’ve got targets already that we’re kind of provisionally drawing up,” ExWHUemployee said on his Patreon site.

“Now there’s quite a few interesting ones that are out of contract in the summer, which we know – being free – will probably tempt the owners.

‘It’s interesting those four are out of contract in the summer’

“One is Marega who is a forward who we have been linked with repeatedly. I think he’s at Porto at the moment but he’s out of contract (in the summer).

“Another one is Maksimovic, who is a centre back from Napoli. I think we were linked with him heavily in the summer. And then there’s Aboubakar who is another forward who might be playing in Turkey at the moment. But he also played in Portugal and was another person we’ve looked at.

“And then there’s Lundstram of Sheffield United.

“Now I don’t know if our interest in him has cooled recently because there wasn’t much effort to sign him in January. But it’s interesting that those four – all previous targets – are out of contract in the summer.”
