David Moyes is hesitating on whether or not to push through a couple of loan signings before the January transfer window closes.

That’s according to Claret and Hugh who claim that the West Ham boss is still yet to make his mind up about any potential incomings before deadline day.

Moyes is under real pressure in his role at the London Stadium, and a recent report suggested that the Hammers board are eyeing up a bold move for Maurizio Sarri to replace the Scot.

The East London club are currently sitting just outside the bottom three, and with games against Newcastle, Chelsea and Tottenham to come, we could be be inside the relegation zone soon. Surely Moyes needs to make one or two new signings before deadline day, surely…

It seems as though the Scot is living up to his nickname and dithering once again though…

David Moyes undecided ahead of January transfer window deadline

Claret and Hugh claim that the Hammers boss has still not made his mind up one way or the other as to whether he wants to make any new signings (loan deals) before Tuesday’s deadline.

I’m sick to the back teeth of Moyes’s player recruitment now if I’m being honest.

He talked a good game when he returned to the London Stadium but those words were clearly hollow. Clubs like Brighton, Fulham, Newcastle and Brentford continue to recruit smartly with some kind of long-term strategy, whilst everything that we do seems to be hashed together at the last minute without any kind of planning or future vision.

The fact that West Ham might even be scrambling around for last minute loan deals tells us all we need to know about our transfer strategy as a club. Out total lack of future planning is also why we had such a huge turnover of players in the summer, and we will again this summer.

Whether we make any signings between now and deadline day remains to be seen but even if we do, I don’t trust the manager to bring the right players in, or bring the best out of them anymore.

David Moyes should act before the January transfer window shuts but it might just be a pointless exercise in the end.
