David Moyes could finally get revenge on Jurgen Klopp as West Ham bid is made for a wonderkid striker Liverpool want.
West Ham fans will be all too aware of Liverpool’s interference in their transfer activity over the last year.
It was well publicised last January that West Ham were pushing hard to sign Darwin Nunez (Sky Sports).
Transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano confirmed West Ham’s move for Nunez was real but had only served to alert the likes of Liverpool to his availability.
The West Ham move did not happen and Liverpool duly pounced to sign Nunez this summer.

It was the second West Ham move Klopp had hijacked after Liverpool snatched Luis Diaz from under Moyes’ nose last January with the Scot believing he had the Colombian all but signed (Daily Mail).
Liverpool had even been linked with Hammers ace Jarrod Bowen all summer until Mohamed Salah signed his new deal with the Reds.
West Ham instead brought in Gianluca Scamacca in the summer but scoring goals has been a huge problem for the Hammers.
So much so Moyes brought in former Liverpool striker Danny Ings last week only to see him injured less than 24 hours after being unveiled.
That allegedly means West Ham remain in the market for another forward before the window closes next Tuesday.

And Moyes could finally get revenge on Klopp as a West Ham bid is made for a wonderkid striker Liverpool want – Marcos Leonardo.
West Ham are said to have made a late window move for new striker target Leonardo after launching an opening bid.
According to 90min and talkSPORT West Ham have moved for Brazilian Leonardo – who has been compared to the likes of Sergio Aguero and Romario.
And 90min go as far as to claim that West Ham have seen an opening loan with option to buy offer for the Santos wonderkid rejected.
Leonardo’s name will be familiar to Liverpool fans who followed the club’s transfer activity in the summer window.

Klopp wanted to sign Leonardo in the summer, as reported by the likes of Rousing The Kop, Si and SportBible.
The 19-year-old scored 21 goals in 57 appearances for Santos during a breakthrough 2022.
South American football expert Tim Vickery has been discussing West Ham’s move for Leonardo.
He has described him as a fox in the box type player – just what Liverpool and West Ham are missing this season.
Let’s hope the Hammers can get a deal done for the starlet before the deadline and finally get one over on Liverpool.
