West Ham United will have a great chance to sign a highly talented Belgium international in the summer window it seems.
The summer transfer window is vitally important for West Ham, and David Moyes desperately needs to add more power, athleticism and dynamism to his central midfield ranks, if he is still in charge at the London Stadium of course.
The Hammers have a really good starting XI, but one thing we do lack is a central midfielder who has bags of energy and can perform the box-to-box role.
Mandela Keita is someone who would be ideally suited to playing that role for West Ham, and we apparently tried to sign him in January.
Now it seems as though Moyes will have a brilliant chance to bring him to the London Stadium in the summer…

Door open for West Ham to sign midfielder in the summer transfer window
Voetbal Nieuws claims that OH Leuven are hoping that the Hammers make a formal offer for Keita in the summer.
The Belgium international is currently spending the season on loan with Royal Antwerp, but it is suggested that they won’t be able to afford the fee needed to sign him permanently.
Nieuwsblad claim that OH Leuven want around £13 million for the 21-year-old midfielder – an absolute snip in this day and age.
Keita is literally the perfect player for us, and he’d complete our central midfield as far as I’m concerned.
In 19 league appearances for Antwerp this season, he has averaged 2.4 tackles and 1.7 interceptions per game. During those outings, he has made 51.5 passes per match and has registered a really impressive completion rate of 89.1% (Who Scored).
He is slightly raw technically, but his energy, pace and power more than makes up for that. £13 million for a player with Keita’s outstanding ability and frightening potential should be seen as a great deal for the Hammers.
If West Ham bring the Belgian to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window, I’ll be absolutely delighted.
