West Ham target Hakim Ziyech endured a bizarre deadline day failed transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Chelsea yesterday.

Hammers boss David Moyes allegedly wanted to bring the 29-year-old Chelsea ace to the London Stadium.
PSG surged ahead in the race though, and Ziyech flew out to Paris to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed move to the Parc des Princes.
The Morocco international has struggled to establish himself at Stamford Bridge over the past couple of years.
And it seemed like a move away from Chelsea was something that he desperately needed. Unfortunately for him though, he’s now stuck with the Blues for at least another five or six months…

L’Equipe claim that Chelsea sent the incorrect documentation to PSG not once, not twice, but THREE times!
And on top of that, Ligue 1’s handling of the situation involving a computer glitch has been described as a ‘Class A circus’ by L’Equipe.
What an incredibly frustrating situation that is for Ziyech and Paris Saint-Germain.
Maybe a move to West Ham would have been better for the Moroccan after all!
Now, L’Equipe claim that Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to lodge an appeal in order to get the deal for Hakim Ziyech over the line, having blamed Chelsea for the escapade.
Whether they will be successful or not remains to be seen.
