Chelsea signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer may well open the door for West Ham to make another move for Armando Broja.

Football journalist Gerard Romero claims that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pushing hard to sign Aubameyang this summer.

And if the 33-year-old forward does end up joining Chelsea, Armando Broja will be well down the centre-forward pecking order at Stamford Bridge once again.

West Ham boss David Moyes really tried to bring Broja to the London Stadium this summer but eventually signed Gianluca Scamacca instead.

After the Italian was signed, Fabrizio Romano suggested that the Hammers’ interest in the 20-year-old Chelsea hitman had come to an end.

We think that Auba joining the Blues may well change all of that though. Moyes still needs to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium as well…

Chelsea signing Aubameyang could be great news for West Ham

Gerard Romero reckons that the West London outfit are pushing hard to bring the 33-year-old forward back to London from Barcelona.

Described as ‘unplayable’ by The Mirror, Aubameyang has bagged 310 goals and 92 assists in 604 career games (Transfermarkt).

The experienced striker would undoubtedly be a hit with Chelsea and Tuchel signing him would drastically improve his centre-forward options.

If that happens, we believe that Moyes should be knocking on Chelsea’s door with another offer for Armando Broja.

We would love the 20-year-old Chelsea ace at the club.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. And Albania coach Sergio Porrini called him ‘devastating’.

Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.

Chelsea could sell Broja for around £40 million this summer according to Give Me Sport.

Whether West Ham will be prepared to pay anything like that for the Albanian is debatable.

One thing’s for sure though – Chelsea signing Aubameyang will undoubtedly make the Hammers’ task of bringing Broja to the London Stadium this summer a whole lot easier.

The Blues allegedly need to pay around £16.5 million for the Gabonese ace (Sky Sports). That won’t be any problem at all for the west Londoners. And we’re hoping that Tuchel brings the ex-Arsenal man to Stamford Bridge this summer. It could really help out West Ham in the end.
