Today could be the day that West Ham step up our chase for Armando Broja, with Chelsea reportedly closing in on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Fabrizio Romano claimed via his Twitch channel, and relayed via Sport Witness, that Chelsea are on the verge of signing Aubameyang and could complete a deal for the 33-year-old later today.

West Ham boss David Moyes allegedly still wants to bring Armando Broja to the London Stadium.

And it seems as though the Hammers may well now have the perfect chance to prise the 20-year-old away from Stamford Bridge.

If Aubameyang moves to Chelsea, the Albania international will surely face a bleak future with the West London outfit…

Chelsea signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would be great news for West Ham

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Blues boss Thomas Tuchel could bring the ex-Arsenal striker to Stamford Bridge as soon as today.

Aubameyang earns £187k-a-week at Barca (Capology). And the Spanish giants are said to be demanding around £25 million for the prolific striker (Fabrizio Romano).

Chelsea desperately need to sign a proven goalscorer, so it would be no surprise to see them pay that kind of money for the Gabonese forward, despite his age.

If that does happen, West Ham cannot hesitate to move in for Armando Broja.

We would love the 20-year-old Chelsea ace at the club.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. And Albania coach Sergio Porrini called him ‘devastating’.

Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.

Chelsea could sell the striker for around £40 million this summer according to Give Me Sport.

Whether West Ham will be prepared to pay anything like that for Armando Broja is debatable.

One thing’s for sure though, Chelsea signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would greatly enhance our chances of bringing the Albanian ace to the London Stadium.
