Reported West Ham United January transfer window target Gerson has apparently said his goodbyes to teammates.
That’s according to a report from L’Equipe who claim that the 25-year-old has already bid farewell to the Marseille players.
Moyes really needs to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium in January.

Tomas Soucek has been woefully out of form for the past year now and of course there is the elephant in the room – Declan Rice’s uncertain future at West Ham.
And it seems as though Gerson could be someone who may well be arriving at the London Stadium this winter…
West Ham handed big Gerson boost
The 25-year-old seems to be planning for an exit from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille in January.
He has already said goodbye to his teammates, according to a report from L’Equipe.
Marseille signed the four-capped Brazil international midfielder from Flamengo in the summer of 2021 for around £17 million (Get Football News France).
It seems as though his stay in France could be short-lived though, with the Ligue 1 outfit now trying to move him on.
Marseille are allegedly trying to move him on for around €15 million (£13 million), according to L’Equipe.

That sounds like really good value to me.
Gerson has scored two goals in 10 games for Marseille so far this season. During those outings, he has registered d pass completion rate of 82.4% (Who Scored).
The South American is incredibly strong, has real energy and dynamism and seems to be ideally suited to the robust nature of Premier League football.
I’d be delighted if West Ham signed Gerson for £13 million in the January transfer window.
Whether or not Moyes is able to bring the Brazilian to the London Stadium remains to be seen though.
