A board source has delivered a crushing triple West Ham striker update as the January transfer window clock ticks down.
West Ham now have just over one week to do business before the January transfer window closes.
According to widespread reports and confirmation from sources within West Ham moves are afoot for Kalvin Phillips and Ibrahim Osman.
Phillips is expected to seal a loan move from Man City soon.
Meanwhile the top source inside West Ham exclusively told Hammers News overnight that the club’s bid for Ghanaian attacker Osman has been rejected.
Many West Ham fans are desperate to see the club sign a bonafide top level striker.

Board source’s crushing triple striker update
David Moyes admitted in a TV interview with Les Ferdinand before the window opened that he is looking to sign a new forward.
At the weekend reports claimed the Hammers are ready to smash their transfer record for Bayer Leverkusen ace Victor Boniface.
West Ham have also been linked with Chelsea’s Armando Broja, Feyenoord’s Mexcian forward Santiago Giménez, Aston Villa bit-part forward Jhon Duran and Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy. To name but a few.
But now a board source has delivered a crushing triple West Ham striker update as the window clock ticks down.
Completing a big money deal for a striker always looked unlikely for West Ham the further we went into this awkward winter window.
And Sean Whetstone, who counts majority owner David Sullivan and vice-chair Karren Brady among his contacts, has flat out denied the Hammers are prioritising that position.

‘Hammers NOT prioritising a striker’
“West Ham are NOT prioritising a striker in January and club insiders say reports about bids about Feyenoord’s Santiago Giménez, Chelsea’s Armando Broja and Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran are wide of the mark,” Whetstone said.
That news will seriously disappoint many West Ham fans.
Michail Antonio is injury prone, past his best and turns 34 in March.
Danny Ings, despite a decent display at Sheffield United, isn’t getting any younger and has proved a pretty disastrous signing for West Ham’s system.
Divin Mubama has looked out of his depth and in need of a loan move when given extended chances.
And there is a case to be made that Jarrod Bowen is more effective off the right hand side.
Hammers fans will be particularly frustrated given the one player they are close to signing is in a position that least needs strengthening.
