Chelsea are allegedly eyeing up a move to sign West Ham United transfer target Josip Juranovic from Celtic in January.
That’s according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb who claim that Chelsea boss Graham Potter wants to sign the 27-year-old Celtic right-back as cover for the injured Reece James.
James, 23, could be out for around a month according to Sky Sports.
Potter obviously isn’t waiting around to try and carry on without adequate cover for James, and that’s a big blow for West Ham.

It seems as though the Croatia World Cup star could be Stamford Bridge bound though…
Chelsea in for Josip Juranovic
Tuttomercatoweb reckon that the Blues want to sign the Celtic man as cover for Reece James.
The England international is said to be worth at least £50 million (Daily Mail), and is a hugely important figure at Stamford Bridge.
So Juranovic must have something special about him, if he is being lined up to provide cover for James.
His performances for Croatia during the World Cup were truly sensational.
Juranovic has been a really solid performer for Celtic this season as well.

The 27-year-old has bagged one goal and one assist in eight Scottish Premiership games for Celtic so far this season (Who Scored).
During those outings, he has averaged 1.1 tackles, 0.7 interceptions and one clearance per game (Who Scored).
The Croatian is a very solid operator, and he has mightily impressive pace as well.
Celtic allegedly want around £17 million for the right-back. That’s a fair price to pay for the 27-year-old in my opinion.
As things stand though, it seems more likely that Chelsea will sign Josip Juranovic rather than West Ham.
