Bizarre new David Sullivan claims rubbished at West Ham after David Moyes is linked with departure and return to Manchester United.
There is never a dull moment with West Ham is there.
And that was the case again overnight as Hammers boss Moyes was linked with a shock return to Man United following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Hammers News would not normally give credence to news from the website Global247News – which claimed West Ham majority stakeholder Sullivan had refused Man United permission to talk to Moyes about a sensational return to Old Trafford.
“According to close sources within the Manchester boardroom, they are determined to land Moyes for a second term, seeing them land the UK’s current star player Declan Rice,” Global247News reported.
Hammers News was hugely sceptical of the reports.

Bizarre new David Sullivan claims rubbished at West Ham after David Moyes is linked with departure
And it seems with good reason after a source inside West Ham – likely Sullivan himself – told insiders Claret and Hugh that the report is nothing more than fake news.
“West Ham have had no requests from Manchester United to be allowed to talk with David Moyes,” Claret and Hugh report.
“And we were told immediately we posed the question to our own insider that there was no truth in the story whatsoever.”

There are so many factors at play here which make this story a complete joke.
For a start it would be a PR disaster if Man United were to re-hire Moyes.
The board are already detested by Man United fans and while Moyes has worked wonders to rebuild his reputation at West Ham, Red Devils supporters -rightly or wrongly – would see it as a huge step backwards.
And why would Moyes want to return? His shoddy treatment at Man United set his career back years and almost ruined it.

Why would he sacrifice everything he is building at West Ham – where he is the top dog – to go back to a club clearly in crisis and disarray on and off the pitch.
Throw in the fact that any decision over an approach for Moyes would now involve not only Sullivan and David Gold but new second biggest stakeholder Daniel Kretinsky too and it is clear this is just a website out for a few clicks in the wake of the Solskjaer sacking.
Not that there would have been much to discuss given the minor miracle the Scot has worked in east London.
