West Ham United allegedly look set to miss out to Paris Saint-Germain on signing Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech on transfer deadline day.
That’s according to a report from L’Equipe who claim that PSG are in talks to sign the Chelsea star, and things are said to be progressing very quickly.

It seems as though the East London outfit never really stood a chance though…
West Ham to miss out on Ziyech to PSG on deadline day
L’Equipe reckon that the French giants are closing in on a deal to sign the Chelsea ace before tonight’s deadline.
That’s a real shame for the Hammers in my opinion.
The 29-year-old has quality and skill in abundance, and he is the type of player who would capture the imaginations of the West Ham fans instantly.
Hakim Ziyech would have provided brilliant competition for Jarrod Bowen at West Ham, and he would also have offered a completely unique option for Moyes in the number 10 role.

The Sun have described Ziyech as a ‘scintillating’ player, and suggested that he was Chelsea’s best signing of the summer window in 2020.
However, things haven’t quite worked out for the Moroccan ace at Stamford Bridge.
Hakim Ziyech is clearly a very good player but I feel as though the move to Chelsea was just the wrong club for him, at the wrong time.
And it’s such a shame that West Ham seemingly won’t be signing the Moroccan star on deadline day.
