West Ham United allegedly could face competition from Leeds for Club Brugge ace Noa Lang in the January transfer window.

That’s according to a report from Corriere dello Sport (print edition November 16th, pages 18+19) who claim that AC Milan are in the race with West Ham and Leeds for Lang’s signature as well.

Hammers boss David Moyes has been incessantly linked with a move to sign the five-capped Holland International over the past year or two.

The Scot will now have his work cut-out if he is to bring the 23-year-old to the London Stadium though, with Leeds boss Jesse Marsch allegedly keen to sign him.

Whilst AC Milan are probably in pole position to sign Lang, there is clearly still a chance that he could end up at the London Stadium or Elland Road in January.

Both the Hammers and the Whites are seemingly keeping a very close eye on the Club Brugge attacker…

Corriere dello Sport reckon that the Hammers and the West Yorkshire club both want to sign the talented Dutchman this winter.

We think that the Club Brugge ace would be a very useful addition for whichever club wins the race for his signature this summer.

In the 2020/21 campaign, he bagged 18 goals and 11 assists in 37 games in all competitions for Club Brugge (Transfermarkt).

And last season, Lang racked up nine goals and 15 assists in 46 games. This term he’s bagged four goals and two assists in 15 games (Transfermarkt).

The five-capped Holland International has been described as an ‘extraordinary’ player by Smarter Scout.

The talented young Dutchman can play anywhere along the front-line. He is absolutely rapid and possesses exceptional technical ability.

Lang is said to be available for around €25 million (£21 million) according to Calciomercato.it. The 23-year-old’s talent and potential make him more than worth that kind of transfer fee.

It remains to be seen whether West Ham or Leeds manage to win the race for his signature in the January transfer window.

It must be said though, West Ham are in a better position than Leeds to sign Lang, given the fact that we have European football on offer at the London Stadium.
