Fabrizio Romano has given his famous ‘here we go’ tweet as Tottenham close in on the signing of West Ham target Destiny Udogie.
Tottenham appear to have won the race to sign the 19-year-old Udinese left-back who David Moyes allegedly wanted to bring to the London Stadium.

The Hammers boss was trying really hard to sign Udogie according to the likes of Football Italia.

Moyes really needs to bring a top-class left-back into the club before the transfer window slams shut but Tottenham have seemingly beaten the Scot to one of his key targets.
Aaron Cresswell has been a great servant for West Ham but he has regressed badly over the past six months or so. Udogie would have been a real upgrade on the 32-year-old but the Hammers will seemingly now have to look elsewhere…
Fabrizio Romano tweets famous ‘here we go’ as Tottenham close on Udogie
The famous Italian journalist has tweeted that Spurs now have a £17 million deal in place to sign the 19-year-old and will loan him back to Udinese for the 2022/23 season:
That’s a real blow for West Ham in my opinion.
He has ‘devastating crossing ability’ and is absolutely rapid according to Italian football website Cult of Calcio.
Udogie enjoyed a really successful campaign with Udinese last season, bagging five goals and three assists in 35 Serie A outings (Transfermarkt).
Not bad numbers for a left-back!
The Udinese starlet is powerful, energetic and possesses all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League.

The 19-year-old has the potential to go on and become one of the very best left-backs in world football.
He plays with impressive maturity and poise for someone so young as well.
West Ham may well regret missing out to Tottenham on Udogie.
And the Fabrizio Romano ‘here we go’ tweet all but confirms that Spurs have just made a truly brilliant signing.
