The door should be wide open for West Ham to sign Amadou Onana this summer with Arsenal allegedly making an offer for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Il Messaggero claims that Arsenal have submitted an offer for the 27-year-old Lazio ace thought to be worth around €55 million (£47 million).

And that could come as really good news for West Ham.

Both the Hammers and the Gunners have bene linked with moves to sign Lille midfielder Amadou Onana.

Just last night, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth claimed that West Ham have actually submitted a £20 million bid for the 20-year-old ace.

And with Arsenal allegedly now pushing ahead with a move to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, that should mean that they are no longer in the race to sign Onana…

Arsenal Milinkovic-Savic offer should be great news for West Ham

Il Messaggero reckon that Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is going all out for the 34-capped Serbia international midfielder this summer.

The Italian publication claims that Arsenal have actually lodged a £47 million bid for the 27-year-old star.

The Lazio ace is a central midfielder who usually operates slight deeper. He is a sensational player in fairness.

Football Italia recently described the midfielder as an ‘unstoppable’ player.

If Arsenal do end up signing Milinkovic-Savic, the Hammers may well have a free run at Onana.

The Belgium international would be a truly magnificent addition for West Ham and David Moyes should be going all out to bring him to the London Stadium this summer.

The 20-year-old powerhouse midfielder is one of the game’s very brightest young talents.

He seems to have absolutely everything needed to succeed in the English game what with its intense nature and ferocious speed and tempo.

The 6ft 6in central midfielder is an absolute giant.

He’s powerful, energetic and has everything that Moyes will be looking for in the middle of the park.

The Belgium international is equally as strong with both feet, and that’s somewhat of a rarity in the modern game.

Arsenal would obviously not want to miss out on Onana but if they are successful with their offer for Milinkovic-Savic, it won’t matter to them one bit.

And on the flip side, West Ham would be getting a superb player in the form of the 20-year-old Belgian.

This could actually end up being a win-win situation for all parties involved.
