Arnaut Danjuma’s agent fires back at talkSPORT journalist on Twitter after David Moyes claims

The agent of Arnaut Danjuma has fired back at talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook on Twitter after claims were made about his client’s attitude.

West Ham have been linked with a move to bring the 25-year-old Villarreal attacker to the London Stadium this summer (Marca).

Danjuma would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers.

Unfortunately for the West Ham fans, it seems as though David Moyes is eyeing up a move to sign Jesse Lingard instead of Danjuma due to concerns about the Villarreal ace’s personality (talkSPORT).

So if Moyes does prioritise a move for Lingard over the Dutchman, it will be painfully short-sighted.

Some may say that Danjuma’s so-called attitude and temperament problems mean that Moyes is spot on not to sign him.

It seems as though there isn’t any substance to those bad attitude claims, however…

Danjuma agent speaks out

talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook suggested yesterday that West Ham’s interest in Danjuma was stronger from David Sullivan and David Gold than it was from David Moyes.

The West Ham owners were allegedly ready to pay £35 million for the 25-year-old.

That actually sounds like an absolute bargain to us, considering just how talented the Holland international is.

The Hammers insider claimed that Moyes had doubts over Danjuma’s temperament.

Arnaut Danjuma’s agent Michael-Moses Jarman fired back, however, suggesting that Crook knows nothing of his client’s character:

Now, some may claim that Danjuma’s agent would say that wouldn’t he.

We truly believe that the Dutchman hasn’t got any character issues though. He’s clearly a winner and is determined for his team to be the best that they can be.

So obviously sometimes he will come across as angry when things aren’t going well.

Perhaps that has been mistaken for a bad attitude. As Danjuma’s agent Michael-Moses Jarman says though, nobody actually knows the 25-year-old’s character part from those very close to him.

Let’s just hope that this one isn’t completely dead in the water just yet.
