Alex Kral has made West Ham decision – report

Alex Kral and West Ham. The two names have been intrinsically linked since January.

And now it seems that the Hammers are closing in on the 23-year-old midfielder.

Sky Sports recently claimed that West Ham have made contact with Kral’s agent already regarding a potential £14 million summer transfer.

And now The Express have delivered further good news for Hammers fans.

The 16-capped Czech Republic international allegedly wants to move to the London Stadium to play under David Moyes and link up with his countryman Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.

Alex Kral would be superb for West Ham

The 23-year-old has been in stunning form for Spartak Moscow this season.

In 29 league outings, Kral has registered five assists and has averaged 1.5 tackles, 1.8 interceptions, 0.8 clearances and 0.8 dribbles per game. During those appearances, he has made 56 passes per match on average with a completion rate of 81% (Who Scored).

The Czech Republic international began his career as a defender but he has evolved into a midfielder. He is apt at playing the holding role but he can perform central midfield box-to-box duties with aplomb as well.

Kral would be worth every penny of the reported £14 million fee needed to prise him away from Spartak Moscow.

The 23-year-old would provide excellent competition for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek in the middle of the park, that’s for sure.

He has real talent and could very well go on to become a true star of the game.

Let’s hope we manage to get this deal done with the minimum of fuss. Kral would be an absolutely brilliant signing for West Ham.
