Hammers boss David Moyes is expected top be a busy man in the transfer market this summer.

With European football on the horizon for West Ham, it could be argued that we need to sign at least five players in order to compete on all fronts next season.

The onus is very much on David Sullivan and David Gold to provide Moyes with the platform he needs to really take West Ham to another level now.

The timing is perfect.

With Europa League football now secured, we should be able to attract players of a higher calibre than maybe we could before.

We all know our owners too well. So none of us will be getting carried away ahead of the transfer window.

“With a European tour it’ll be fantastic for us and I’m really excited. We’re obviously going to need some more players because of the amount of games we’re going to have, but the boys have done a fantastic job.”

Noble is spot on.

David Moyes will be looking to make two or three high profile signings. The Scot absolutely must bolster his squad on top of that, however, with two or three free transfers or loan deals.

Our squad is threadbare at the moment.
