West Ham United could try to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Fran Beltran in the January transfer window (Football Insider).
And if the 24-year-old midfielder does move to the London Stadium, it will almost certainly spell the end for one West Ham player.
Hammers boss David Moyes has already strengthened his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium after losing Declan Rice to Arsenal.

The Scot brought Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse to the London Stadium, and West Ham are a stronger team now as a result.
However, it seems as though the Scot is eyeing even more reinforcements for his engine room, and it’s terrible news for one Hammer in particular…
West Ham signing Fran Beltran would be bad news for one Hammer
Flynn Downes already faces a fairly bleak future at the London Stadium.
The 24-year-old is currently playing with Southampton on a season-long loan.
And if Beltran arrives at the London Stadium in January, it really will be curtains for Downes.

The Hammers midfielder is clearly not good enough to be playing elite level football, as harsh as that may sound – Beltran is on another level to him entirely.
Downes seems to be more of a Championship level player. The fact that he is 24 and has been sent on loan to a club in England’s second tier tells us all we need to know really. Meanwhile, the tricky Celta Vigo midfielder is an elite player in the making.
The Spain international is a technically gifted footballer and would be a huge addition for the Hammers.
The West Ham fans should be really excited about the potential signing of Fran Beltran in January.
However, Flynn Downes certainly won’t be on the same wavelength as the Hammers faithful.
