23-yo Manchester United star joining West Ham on loan in the January transfer window would make perfect sense for all parties – opinion

In my opinion, West Ham United should be going all out to sign the Manchester United attacker in the January transfer window.

West Ham manager David Moyes has a lot of work to do in the January transfer window and he should be having a look at one of Manchester United’s attacking players.

The Hammers have to upgrade upon the likes of Maxwel Cornet and Said Benrahma, if we are going to make any kind of genuine progress.

Man United star Jadon Sancho would represent exactly that, in spite of his recent troubles at Old Trafford, and West Ham have actually been linked with a move to sign him this January.

However, it’s highly unlikely that the East London outfit would be able to afford the transfer fee needed to sign the 23-year-old winger, and we definitely won’t be able to match his £300k-a-week wages (ESPN).

So in my view, the Hammers should make a move to sign him on loan this winter, and agree some sort of compromise on his wages with Manchester United…

I really feel like Sancho just needs a fresh start with new surroundings in order to salvage career.

And a loan move to West Ham would provide him with the perfect opportunity to do just that.

The England international is currently going through a truly nightmare situation at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old winger hasn’t played for Man United since August 26th, and has only played 76 minutes for them this season (Soccerbase).

Sancho has been banished from first team training following his public rift with Erik ten Hag, and is still refusing to apologise to the Dutchman – something that is needed for him to be involved with the team again (ESPN).

The thing is, the former Borussia Dortmund is an absolutely elite player, and I reckon we could get the best out of him in East London.

We all know what he’s capable of – the 50 goals and 64 assists that he racked up in 137 games for Borussia Dortmund is evidence of his quality (Transfermarkt).

Jadon Sancho has absolutely no future at Manchester United while Erik ten Hag is still manager – that is painfully clear.

However, a loan move to West Ham in the January transfer window may well present him with a huge chance to get his career back on track.
