West Ham lineup vs Aston Villa confirmed as the Hammers look to leap-frog the Villans in the Premier League table.
Aston Villa play host to West Ham United at Villa Park in the 16:30 Premier League kick-off this afternoon.
Hammers boss David Moyes will be delighted with his side’s start to the 2023/24 campaign, both domestically and on the continent.
West Ham are currently sitting in ninth spot in the table, having taken 14 points from our opening eight games, and we can climb as high as fifth today with a win against Villa.
Unai Emery’s side have been flying in the league, and they can also climb into fifth if they get the three points.
With both teams in fine form, it should be an absolute cracker in the west Midlands today…

Well, now we have our answer…
The Scot has opted to start Michail Antonio again, with Kudus having to make do with a place on the bench yet again, via the Hammers’ official Twitter account.
Regardless of what lineup Moyes selected, the key for the Hammers today will be to soak up pressure from Aston Villa as much as we can, but then really hurt them on the counter attack.
When we attack, we have to move with efficiency, pace and then act with sheer ruthlessness in front of goal.
The Hammers haven’t lost to the Villans since 2015 and have won five out of our last six meetings with the west Midlands outfit.
