West Ham United take on Sheffield United on Sunday and some great news has just emerged for us ahead of the game.
Sheffield United play host to West Ham at Bramall Lane in the two o’clock Premier League kick-off on Sunday.
Hammers boss David Moyes has guided his side to a fantastic first half of the season, and we’re currently sitting in sixth spot in the Premier League table.
West Ham are also safely through to the last 16 of the Europa League, and everything is looking really bright for us right now.
However, our season is currently under threat of being completely derailed, with so many key first-team players currently out and unavailable for selection. The only good thing is the 19 day break from Premier League action that we so desperately needed.
That might all be about to change though…

Huge triple injury boost for West Ham ahead of Sheffield United clash
The Mirror have just shared a truly monumental injury boost for West Ham ahead of this weekend’s clash with the Blades.
Jarrod Bowen, Edson Alvarez and Pablo Fornals could all be available for selection for our game against Sheffield United on Sunday.
If the Englishman and the Mexican are fit to start, I think we’ll win the game. Meanwhile, Fornals will be useful as a senior option with Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio out injured, Mohammed Kudus away at AFCON with Ghana and Said Benrahma suspended.
Alvarez and Fornals were surprise absentees for our replay against Bristol City on Tuesday, whilst Bowen suffered an injury during the first clash with the Robins nearly two weeks ago.
And having all of those back fit and ready to play this weekend will be a major boost for us.
West Ham will have our work cut-out if we are to beat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon. It will be a really tough battle against a relegation threatened Blades side.
Let’s just hope that Moyes has some of his injured players back and whichever team he selects to start turns up and puts in a performance.
