Will Still was in the stands at the London Stadium for the West Ham vs Nottingham Forest Premier League clash yesterday.
West Ham beat Nottingham Forest yesterday afternoon, and Will Still – a man heavily linked with replacing David Moyes – was watching from the stands.
The 31-year-old is a boyhood Hammers fan, and he recently admitted that he wouldn’t think twice if offered the West Ham manager’s job:
“In the short term, I want to complete a full season with Reims and finish as high as possible. For the rest, it’s my problem: I’ve never had a career plan. I take what comes. But I admit that the little child in me wants to go back to England. It’s my home, it’s my championship, the best in the world. I have always been a supporter of West-Ham. I wouldn’t think twice about it, but would I be able to? I would feel too guilty in the event of defeat. But the Premier League and Europe are clearly two major objectives.”
Still has done a truly incredible job with Reims over the past year or so, and he has them flying high in fifth spot in Ligue 1 this season.

The Belgian-born Englishman has deployed a highly entertaining style of football during his stint in charge of Reims, and that is what the majority of West Ham fans find really attractive about him.
His Reims side play with a real kind of intensity that is totally alien to the way in which Moyes has his team playing.
And Still’s attendance at the London Stadium yesterday would undoubtedly have raised some eyebrows in the East End…

The 31-year-old watched on as the Hammers earned a vital three points in the Premier League against Nottingham Forest:
Still’s attendance at the match yesterday will undoubtedly set tongues wagging.
Now, I’m sure that Moyes will see out the season in charge of the Hammers, but can you imagine if we had lost yesterday? He would be under intense pressure right now, with a two-week international break representing the ideal time for the board to make a managerial change.
I would absolutely love someone like Will Still to come into the London Stadium and take over from David Moyes in the West Ham hot-seat.
He’s exactly the kind of manager we need to get the best out of our flair players like Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus.
However, I still think it will be quite some time before Still, or anyone else for that matter, has a chance to implement their ideas in charge of West Ham.
