Lucas Paqueta ran down the tunnel immediately after being substituted and replaced by Pablo Fornals during West Ham United‘s clash with Aston Villa.
The Hammers were held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa at the London Stadium this afternoon.

West Ham just lacked the cutting edge that was needed inside the final third and Lucas Paqueta was particularly poor.

The 25-year-old Brazilian just hasn’t cut the mustard since making his £51 million move to the club from Lyon in the summer. That’s fine, he still needs time to settle.
However, what isn’t acceptable is a bad attitude, and Paqueta worryingly displayed exactly that this afternoon…
Lucas Paqueta will have riled the West Ham fans up with anger today
When David Moyes took Paqueta off on the 77th minute mark, the South American responded by walking straight down the tunnel.
I was absolutely appalled by what the 25-year-old did, as I’m sure many West Ham fans were.
Tony Gale on the co-commentary let rip at the ex-Lyon man, and rightly so.
The fact that he returned to the bench a couple of minutes later doesn’t excuse him in my opinion. I reckon he was just told to go back out to the bench.

Besides, the fact that he didn’t even acknowledge Pablo Fornals when the Spaniard came on tells us all we need to know about the Brazilian’s character.
Lucas Paqueta needs to buck his ideas up for West Ham and fast.
I can accept poor performances – that will happen, especially during a debut season in the Premier League.
What isn’t acceptable though is a stinking attitude. Paqueta displayed that this afternoon, and that should be a huge concern for Hammers fans.
